The EBC Company Profile  Since the inception of the company over 20 years ago, Elemco Building Controls, Inc. (EBC) has been involved with turnkey implementation of sophisticated monitoring and control systems. System solutions include energy management, sub metering, critical systems monitoring, process control, measurement and verification and many custom applications. Systems and services have been marketed locally, nationally and internationally (Australia, Canada and UK). EBC brings a wealth of mechanical expertise as well as significant software development capability to each project to insure a seamlessly integrated, homogenous system solution. All system projects are joint efforts between qualified software technicians and machinery control experts well versed on all types of industrial and commercial equipment. This cooperative effort insures that all EBC systems will be properly engineered with respect to the interface to the controlled equipment as well as the overall environmental and energy requirements of the facility. EBC specializes in the implementation of interoperable automation systems and has used Open Systems Architecture to integrate products from Honeywell, Teletrol, American Auto-matrix, Andover, Siebe, Opto22, Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Trane, Triatek, Frick, Vilter, Dunham Bush and others. Projects have also included utilization of industry standard communication protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks and Modbus. The combination of the distributed process, DDC programming environment and EBC’s own “ENERGY EXECUTIVE III/TENANT EXECUTIVE III/METER EXECUTIVE III”® GUI removes all obstacles from the path of total control solutions regardless of custom requirements. For over 15 years EBC has also designed, installed, commissioned and operated sub metering systems in both the residential and commercial sectors. EBC provides sub meter reading and billing services on a monthly basis to many of our sub metering customers. EBC has also developed and implemented Measurement & Verification protocols and systems for performance contracts and Demand Side Management programs. In particular, EBC designed, installed and commissioned sophisticated M & V systems for fuel switching projects (electric to natural gas) in large load industrial applications. The company also is involved in configuring and integrating third party software products with various types of control equipment. Elemco programmers work in VB.net, ASP.net, HTML, JAVA, C, C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Microsoft ACCESS, compiled BASIC, SCIL and various other hardware specific control languages.
